Responses Needed For Oilsands Safety Survey

In order to improve safety in Alberta’s oil and gas industry, the Construction Owners Association of Alberta wants to find out exactly where the industry is right now. To that end, the COAA is asking companies in the province to complete a survey it has developed alongside the University of Alberta.

The goals of the survey are to determine the attitudes and actions currently directed toward safety by COAA members, to enhance best practices, and to come up with initiatives that will help improve overall safety for everyone.

A summary of the results will be presented to COAA member companies at its Best Practices Conference in May, online at jwnenergy.com and in the summer issue of Oilsands Review magazine. Individual companies will not be identified in the summary; sector and industry distributions will only be provided.
